Toma Spiriev is currently a neurosurgeon in Sofia, Bulgaria. During his residency training he has numerous international fellowships, and he has completed the EANS training courses receiving the Braakman prize. His main interests are neuroanatomy, neurooncology, skull base and neurovascular surgery. His research is in 3D visualization techniques, 3D modeling, 3D printing and their application in neurosurgery for preoperative planning, education and training.
