Skin incision:
1.Superficial exposure
A curved skin incision is made on the lateral side of the cubital fossa extending to the midline of the forearm. The brachioradialis m. is retracted laterally and deep to it the radial nerve is visualized. The cepahlic v. is presented medially.

2.Radial nerve at the forearm branches
The dissection is extended further exposing the division of the radial nerve to the deep motor branch coursing posteriorly (posterior interosseous nerve) and superficial (sensory) branch.
